The Pop-Up Players return to The Abbey with plenty of foley sound effects, multiple accents (35 different characters!) and a BUNCH of hats as they hilariously re-imagine an Alfred Hitchcock classic spy thriller as a staged radio play with: “The 39 Steps – On the Airwaves!” Sunday January 11th, at 2:00 PM.
Featuring the talents of Dan McKenzie, Michelle Hainline, Nick Yanek, Dalton Dean, and Thomas Bickel. Adapted and expanded from the (public domain) 1937 Lux Radio Theater broadcast, this presentation is directed by Marlee Reel.
Admission is free but $10 donations are encouraged. All proceeds will benefit the Ottawa Center for the Arts.
