On behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Ottawa Center for the Arts, we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended our first annual Legacy Gala on August 15, 2026, at The Great Hall and The Abbey.

The list of those deserving our thanks is long. To everyone who came out in support, to those who offered assistance and guidance throughout the planning and preparation, and to Tony Einhaus and his crew for going above and beyond—thank you.

We are grateful to Open Table Church for their patience and kindness, and to the many performers and artists who generously shared their time and talents to make the evening so memorable.  The Gala also provided an opportunity to unveil our vision for the buildings and spend time with old friends and new.

Thank you, Ottawa, for coming together to celebrate the arts and for making our first-ever gala such a memorable success. Your generosity, enthusiasm, and belief in our vision remind us of what is possible when people come together with a shared purpose. This is only the beginning—and we couldn’t have done it without you.
