About the event
The Ottawa Center for the Arts welcomes you to Center in: silence, a weekly window of time to practice stillness together.
Beginning January 16, 2026, the Abbey will be open from noon-1pm on Fridays as a shared space for solitude—meditation, prayer, contemplation, reflection, or simply a moment of pause. This time will not be guided. Come in and sit for 10 minutes, or stay for the hour. The space is here for you.
As this is a silent gathering, please reserve conversations and greetings for outside the space. Center in: silence is free and open to all. If you wish to support The Ottawa Center for the Arts, donations are welcome at the door or online at www.ottawacenter.org.
